2025 Team Member Outing: Obodo Collective

This past Spring 2025, Allegiant Stadium and Raiders staff volunteered at the Obodo Collective's urban garden. Staff worked on vegetable planter bed cleaning, prepping for the next season’s planting, and learning about the impactful work Obodo Collective does for the community.

The Obodo Collective is a Black woman-led nonprofit operating an urban garden on a half-acre property at 1300 C Street that grows fresh fruits and vegetables for the community. The Obodo Greengrocer opened earlier in the year, offering fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables, along with other essential goods, to serve the underserved community.

The organization aims to tackle multi-generational poverty by emphasizing community-driven solutions and collaborating with local nonprofits to connect families with essential resources.
