GridIron Pitch II

Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 25th, Allegiant Stadium hosted its 2nd Annual Diverse Supplier Engagement Event, GridIron Pitch II.

As a part of the stadium’s Community Initiatives, GridIron Pitch invites local, small and diverse businesses to the stadium for an opportunity to present their goods and services. Vendors participated in a thorough review process and were strategically matched to departments based on future procurement needs and areas of expertise.

"The Gridiron Pitch event was such a rousing success that the Buffalo media market featured it as a part of a story on community benefits for a proposed new stadium." said Ken Evans, member of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board. "I applaud ASM Global and its partners for the proactive, innovative and inclusive steps they've taken to ensure equitable access to opportunities plus produce tangible community benefits at Allegiant Stadium." said Ken Evans member of Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board.

Vendors were given 10 minutes to present their business capabilities and/or showcase products, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with staff members.

The inaugural GridIron Pitch event, that took place in March 2021, invited over 30 local vendors of which several have become integral parts of the stadium operations and supply chains.

This year’s events welcomed approximately 60 vendors across multiple sectors that showcased their business’ services to Allegiant Stadium.

Also new to this year’s event, local small and diverse food & beverage vendors were invited to showcase their culinary skills and provided menu samples for stadium attendees.

The event kicked off with a Press Conference that invited local community partners and leaders.

GridIron Pitch is our response to the voices of small, local, and diverse businesses in Las Vegas. Our goal is to create impactful programs that will produce years of partnership opportunities with equity, access, and inclusivity as the anchors of our commitment and support. ” said Neumiia Duncan Reed Vice President of Human Resources and Community Affairs at Allegiant Stadium.

Allegiant Stadium is committed to exceeding the community engagement standards outlined in Nevada’s Community Benefits Plan by creating ongoing programming that will ensure local, small and diverse businesses have opportunities at every level of procurement.

Any businesses interested in receiving information and/or participating in future events must submit their information and be registered in Allegiant Stadium’s vendor database at this link.
