Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas hosts its first-ever concert powered by 100% renewable energy

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, three-time GRAMMY Award-winner P!NK took the stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas marking the venue’s first-ever concert performance powered by 100% renewable energy. The tour stop was part of the performer’s Summer Carnival 2023 Tour and featured special guests Brandi Carlile, Grouplove, and DJ Kid Cut Up.

The powerhouse singer greeted the over 50,000 fans in attendance at the sold-out event from a bungee perch at the top of the stage before opening the show with the classic hit “Get the Party Started.” P!NK proceeded to perform from her extensive catalogue of hits including “What About Us,” “Raise Your Glass,” and “Trustfall,” later taking to the skies with death-defying aerial tricks as she performed “So What” to delighted concertgoers as the night ended.

“Becoming a stadium powered by 100% renewable energy is a huge accomplishment and we were thrilled to have the first performer since this announcement be a world-class superstar like P!NK,” said Chris Wright, General Manager of Allegiant Stadium. “It means so much to us to be sustainably responsible for not only our community, but also for the incredible talent that chooses to perform here and for their fans from all over the globe.”

Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Raiders announced last week the stadium’s conversion to 100% renewable energy. The stadium has strived to conserve energy usage for all events held there including world-class concerts, global sporting events, and state-of-the-art corporate events. This announcement comes on the heels of Allegiant Stadium’s LEED Gold Certification in July, further solidifying the facility as a leader in sustainability in sports and entertainment.
